Robert S. Cramer -- Chairman and Co-Founder
Robert S. Cramer has served as the company's chairman since it was founded in 1990. He was named
Chief Executive Officer in September 1996 and served in this position through 2005. He co-founded the
company with the vision of bringing together the power of digital media with the traditional artistry of medical
illustration. Today, the company serves a global market for illustrated, interactive health information that
helps to educate and inform both consumers and patients on their health and wellness. Before he cofounded
A.D.A.M., Mr. Cramer served as chairman of Medical Legal Illustrations, Inc. from 1987 to 1990.
Prior to that, he was executive editor and co-publisher of a regional technology publication. Early in his
career, Mr. Cramer worked for CNN's New York bureau as an assignment editor, field producer and writer.
He is also actively involved with the Atlanta Task Force for the Homeless where he served as its chairman.
He graduated with a BA in Political Science from Tufts University.
Kevin S. Noland -- Chief Executive Officer, President and Director
Kevin S. Noland serves as Chief Executive Officer and President of A D A M Inc. He has been with the
company for 11 years, and previously served as president and chief operating officer. In this role, he had
been responsible for driving the performance of the company through its successful transition into the
healthcare market. Prior to his career at A.D.A.M., he spent more than 10 years in the software and
computer industry, including positions at General Electric and Borland International. He also held general
management, operations and sales positions at several successful technology startups.
Mark Adams -- Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Adams joined the company in April of 2006 and is responsible for the company's financial, accounting,
treasury and ongoing business and operational planning. He served as chief financial officer of Miller Zell, a
mid-market design and illustration firm. Prior to that, Adams served as chief financial officer for several
technology companies, including Micron Optics and Melita International where he guided the company
through its initial public offering. Mr. Adams began his career at Arthur Andersen.
Greg Juhn -- Senior Vice President, Product Strategy
Mr. Juhn joined the company in 1998 and has played key roles in product and business development. With
14 years of experience in patient education and public health program development, he previously directed
A.D.A.M.'s editorial department, creating the company's editorial standards and processes. He co-authored
the first edition of the A.D.A.M. Family Health Guide and developed the specifications for A.D.A.M.'s Health
Risk Assessments and consumer-directed healthcare products. Prior to joining A.D.A.M., he authored a
consumer health book and co-authored numerous scientific articles in peer-reviewed publications. Mr. Juhn
has a bachelor's degree in molecular biology and a Master's degree in Medical Writing from Northeastern

John H. George -- Senior Vice President, Sales
Mr. George joined the company in May of 2007. A seasoned healthcare executive, he served as Senior Vice
President of Sales for Per-Se Technologies, Inc., a publicly traded healthcare software technology firm
acquired by McKesson Corporation in January 2007. In addition to his sales role, George served as Per Se's
Senior Vice President and CTO of Research and Development, overseeing all software development efforts.
Prior to his engagement with Per Se, he held the role of Vice President of North American Operations for
Synavant, a large developer of PRM/CRM solutions for the pharmaceutical industry, which was acquired by
Dendrite.
Jim Retel -- Vice President, Sales
Jim Retel serves as Vice President, Sales of A D A M Inc. For over 20 years, he has been dedicated to the
healthcare market. His experience includes assignments in product management, general management,
and management of sales and marketing organizations. These experiences also cross several of the
healthcare customer segments including: hospitals, payors, providers, and clinical trials organizations. Prior

Tony Lynn -- Vice President, Engineering
Tony Lynn serves as Vice President, Engineering of A D A M Inc. Since 2002, Tony has successfully
managed the A.D.A.M. software/web development group, and has been instrumental in the standardization
and conversion of the our content into XML, development of a proprietary content management system for
ease of content editing as well as development of TransADAM, an application that aids in the delivery and
deployment of the content for our clients. Prior to his employment at ADAM, Tony, helped build eTour.com
into the "stickiest" website on the Internet. Prior to this endeavor, WebMD employed Tony, where he was
instrumental in developing several of their first Physician Portals. Tony's education began at Auburn
University and continued, earning his M.A. (a.b.t.) from the University of West Florida. Tony has been
developing software for over a quarter of a century, having been awarded the "Achievement Medal for
Civilian Service" in 1994 for software he developed for the US Army Corps of Engineers flood relief effort for
Tropical Storm Alberto.
Kyle A. McNeir -- Vice President, Internet & Product Design
Kyle A. McNeir serves as Vice President, Internet & Product Design of A D A M Inc. He has been a key
player with A.D.A.M. since 1992. He has directed the Editorial, Visual Production, Client Service and IS
efforts for the company since 2000 through 2005, and has managed the web development efforts for the
company since 1997. From 2000 to 2005, he directed the Engineering and Software Development for the
company, building a strong development team that created proprietary content management and content
deployment systems. From 1994 to 1997, Mr. McNeir served as product manager for A.D.A.M., responsible
for the creation of award-winning multimedia CD-ROM's for the medical-legal, education, healthcare and
consumer markets, many of which are still in use today. As one of the original medical illustrators and
production managers for A.D.A.M., Mr. McNeir has been instrumental in producing the world's largest
database of high quality medical imagery, animation and technology. From 1992 to 1994, Mr. McNeir served
as a medical illustrator and multimedia producer, creating 2-D and 3-D digital animation and graphics, video
as well as audio production. Prior to A.D.A.M., Mr. McNeir attended the University of Illinois, Chicago,
obtaining a Master's degree in Biomedical Visualization.
Meredith Nienkamp -- Vice President, Production

Meredith Nienkamp serves as Vice President, Production of A D A M Inc. She joined the company in 1992
and has played key roles in department management, product development, project management, content
development, and medical illustration and animation art direction. During her 14-year tenure at A.D.A.M.,
she has led teams to complete key products for the education, healthcare, and consumer markets and is a
co-author of the A.D.A.M. Family Health Guide, first edition. In her current position, she is responsible for
company's project management, editorial, and visual development departments. Meredith completed a
Masters of Science degree in Medical Illustration from the Medical College of Georgia in 1993 and
graduated magna cum laude in 1990 with a Bachelor's of Science-Medical Illustration from Doane College in
Crete, Nebraska.
Shannon McGuire -- Vice President, Education Sales
Ms. McGuire joined the A.D.A.M. team in early 2007. Shannon came to A.D.A.M. with over 18 years of
highly successful experience with electronic and print media products in the educational and institutional
market segments. Prior to joining A.D.A.M., Ms. McGuire began her career with notable educational
distributor Baker & Taylor. From there she went on to hold executive level sales and marketing positions
with the leading online business information provider, Hoovers, and then as Vice President of Sales and
Marketing for the institutional sales channel at Ingram.
David Zieve -- Medical Director
Dr. Zieve comes to A.D.A.M. with a unique background in delivering innovative, evidence-based health
information. Prior to joining A.D.A.M., he served as an editor and product manager at Milliman® Care
Guidelines®. Dr. Zieve is board certified in Family Practice, and has a Master's degree in healthcare
administration.
Daniel S. Howe -- Director
Mr. Howe has been a Director of A.D.A.M. since December 1996. Mr. Howe has been President of DSH
Enterprises, Inc., a real estate development and investment company, since January 1990.
Clay Scarborough -- Director

Clay Scarborough has over 20 years experience with private and public technology companies. Before
making his mark in the IT industry, Clay earned a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and
Materials Science from Duke University , a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of
Michigan, and a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
Mark Kishel -- Director
Dr. Kishel has been a Board member since November 2001. Prior to serving on the Board, Dr. Kishel was
Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia from 1993 until its
acquisition by Wellpoint in 2001. Dr. Kishel is a board certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American
Academy of Pediatrics. He has practiced pediatrics and family medicine, and over the years, has served in
executive medical director roles for several national insurance carriers, including Travelers, HealthAmerica
and Lincoln National. He has served on the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association's National Medical Council.
Dr. Kishel also served as a director and founder of the Center for Healthcare Improvement, a collaborative
research venture between the Medical College of Georgia and BCBSGA, and is currently a director of the
Boys and Girls Club of Metro Atlanta.
